Tips for Riding a Powder Day
Tip 1: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
Powder days can be taxing on your legs. Prime them the day before by drinking as much water as you can! Nobody likes a quad-cramp when gliding down Eagle East!
Tip 2: Bring your one-piece
One-piece snow suit, that is. The benefits are two fold: aerodynamics, and no snow up your back. If you don't have a one piece, button up your powder skirt. What's a powder skirt you ask? It's the oddly placed buttons on the inside of your jacket that tighten a barrier around your waist. How convenient!

Tip 3: Tips up!
Nobody likes to see a tomahawk on a powder day. Keep those ski or snowboard tips up and enjoy the ride! Better yet, if you have powder skis or a powder board, now's the time to bring it out!
Tip 4: Check your gear
There's nothing worse than spending a powder day at the repair bench. Don't be a Jerry, spend some time the night before checking your gear. Look for loose screws, brackets and ratchets. Want to go the extra mile? Take a look at the forecast and wax your gear accordingly to ensure maximum glide. Don't trust your gear or your ability to perform repairs? Our high performance rental equipment is kept in top notch shape and will provide some peace of mind.

Tip 5: Friends? What friends?
We've said it before and we'll say it again; there are no such things as friends on a powder day. If your pal Doug can't keep up, that is Doug's problem. Go out and eat up as many fresh tracks as you can - you can always ask for forgiveness later. Pro Tip: Left your friends in the dust? Offer to buy the first round during your après festivities.
Bonus Tip: Après!
It's the end of the day and you've worked hard for your amazing turns. Why not spend the evening reminiscing all the gorgeous moments from the day with your pals at one of the many great restaurants and bars in Jasper?
