There’s a lot to be excited about with the opening of Marmot Basin’s newest terrain! Tres Hombres has long been coveted by locals and visitors alike. With powder-filled bowls and chutes that descend 367 vertical metres (1,204 ft.), this will be Marmot Basin’s longest, uninterrupted fall-line.

Not for the faint-hearted, Tres Hombres will have you dropping into some of the steepest terrain at Marmot Basin and in the Canadian Rockies! With 5 runs and 45 acres of wide open, off-piste terrain to explore; you’ll have a snow-eating grin during each long lap.

With a run length of almost 700 metres, Tres Hombres is equivalent to 3 times the length of Charlies Bowl, that’s a lot of turns for you and your best ‘hombres’.

Tres Hombres will open for the season once all required fencing and gates are in place and the area deemed safe to ski by the Marmot Basin avalanche control and safety team.
