Welcome to Winter Wonderland at Marmot Basin!
Following the epic 80 cm we had 2 weeks ago, skiers and snowboarders at Marmot Basin have been greeted with another 28 cm that fell overnight! With snow still falling this morning plus continued warm temperatures expected; conditions don't get better than this!

Initial reports from skiers and snowboarders lucky enough to get first tracks this morning are that the snow is dry and fluffy - champagne powder! Marmot Basin's President & CEO, Dave Gibson reported that the snow was billowing a waist level all the way down Highway 16, "it is simply some of the finest skiing I have ever enjoyed".

Advanced skiers and snowboarders rejoice! Eagles East opened on Wednesday - just in time for this amazing new snowfall. The Knob area is also open, so how you enjoy this foot of new snow is up to you! Glades, bowls, steeps, or a mix of everything?
There really is something for everyone at Marmot Basin! Our grooming team worked hard overnight to ensure beginner skiers and snowboarders have some great groomed runs this morning. Intermediates will love the fresh turns on runs like Paradise, Marmot Run and Tranquilizer that were groomed earlier in the night, yet still have beautiful fresh powder on top!
