Marmot Basin has been blanketed with 33 cm of beautiful Rocky Mountain champagne powder in the past 4 days and more is forecast through-out the weekend. This exciting news follows a series of storm cycles that have hit Marmot bringing the total snowfall in March to over one meter! Boasting Canada's highest base elevation of 5,570ft, the fantastic snow conditions are sure to continue well into April and with 6 weeks still left in the season, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy everything Marmot has to offer!

Conditions around the mountain are superb with particular favorites for advanced skiers and boarders like Cornice, the steep open bowls off the Knob Chair and Eagles East in the best condition they’ve been all season. Marmot’s fantastic grooming team also ensure there is great variety of terrain available for all ages and abilities.

April and May are sure to be a lot of fun for everyone with events being held every weekend. Kicking off with a free Down With Webster concert at the Lower Chalet on April 5, followed by the Annual Aloha Cup non-traditional ski race, Easter long weekend and Kokanee Freeride, Marmot will wrap up its 50th Season with a Homecoming weekend; a two day Winter meets Summer celebration on May 3rd & 4th featuring $50 Lift Tickets, a visit by Olympian Jenn Heil and fun activities!
