Welcome to SNO-TOBER! We've had 54cm of snow as of October 26th, and we're excited to watch that number continue to rise as we prepare for our November opening.
With the launch of the Marmot Escape Card last month, more time on the hill makes more sense than ever. The no-blackouts pass providing every Escape Card holder with half price tickets all season has been well recieved, and the direct-to-lift free upgrade will make it simple to hit the hill for half price without waiting in any lines.
We're looking forward to everyone making the most of their Escape Card as the snowfall continues. The colder weather and early snow has us stoked about the season ahead, but it's also had us working hard to find ways to make your extra minutes on the hill this season even more memorable.
Marmot Basin will be brewing up Starbucks this season as our coffee of choice to keep caffeine lovers warm. For those more interested in a warm lunch, the Caribou Cafeteria will be introducing a pasta, stir fry and a noodle bowl station, and for fresh we've expanded our Fresh and Fast program to include a wider selection of grab and go sandwiches and salads. Additionally, Eagles Nest and Caribou lounge are now offering more distinct menus allowing guests more dining options.
Starting Decemeber 9th Happy Hour at the Caribou Lounge will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm, and our shuttle service to the parking lot will extend its hours to 5:15 to accomodate apres ski plans.
With so much going on around here, the snow fall isn't the only thing we're excited about heading into Marmot's 2016/17 season.
