S'mores at Mid-mountain

The fire will be burning and s'mores will be roasting all Jasper in January long at mid-mountain. Stop in, fuel up on delicious goodness and cosy up by the warm fire before hitting the slopes again.

Live Music in the Caribou Lounge

Local artist Pete Cherniawsky will bring his sweet acoustic sound to the Caribou Lounge. Head into the lounge and enjoy some live music and a burger and beer for $30* for lunch!

There will be a door prize so head down to the Caribou Lounge between 1pm - 2:30pm for your chance to win! We have Marmot and Elan merch plus more to give away!

WildLife Distillery will also be making an appearance with a gin tasting booth and there will be a Cabane a Sucre (sugar shack) on the Coca Cola deck.

Avalanche Awareness Day

Avalanche Awareness Day is back! Learn about safety on the slopes and in the back country with the Marmot Safety Ops team on Saturday January 24.

Live demonstrations will be taking place, a question and answer session and a special appearance from the Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association (CARDA).

Prizes will be given away at the Q&A session from Helly Hansen, Rockaboo Mountain Adventures and Kuma Outdoor Gear so don't miss it!

Demo Days

Local ski shops Totem and Source for Sports are bringing the latest gear for you to try with on-mountain demos. Try out those freeride skis you've been itching to ride or test out a new snowboard model.

Plus, prizes from Elan will be up for grabs!

January 24 and January 25 at mid-mountain.

Never-Ever Day

Never skied before? No problem!

First-timers can try skiing or snowboarding on Never-ever Day for a special price on Sunday January 25. Sign-up for your chance to win an Elan prize.

Party Like It's 1989

It's time to whip out your best retro ski gear (or your parents') and party like it's 1989!

Join us for our Retro Party on Saturday January 31 with DJ KylaRae spinning the best of the 80s and 90s.

We'll be celebrating with a (non-competitive) Retro Fun Downhill at 12pm, followed by a party at mid-mountain.

Prizes will be awarded to the best retro outfit so dress to impress!

After, keep the party going at the Jasper in January Street Party from 6pm and at the Atha B Nightclub where DJ KylaRae will be spinning tunes till late.

Poutine Showdown

This year, for the Poutine Showdown, Marmot Basin presents the Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Poutine - everything you love about a cheeseburger on a bed of crispy golden fries and garnished with maple bacon. $18 in the Caribou Cafeteria from January 16 - February 1.
