What you need to know
Some of you may have noticed that we are transitioning to RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) this 2021/22 winter season. This new technology will make your visit at Marmot Basin easier than ever! RFID offers a more convenient way for you to purchase and use Marmot Basin products. Our new online store will allow you the opportunity to pre-load your card with lift tickets so that you can ski or ride directly to the lifts upon arrival at the mountain. Since all RFID cards are reloadable online, there is no need to pick up a new ticket (RFID card) on each visit.
HOW TO USE YOUR RFID LIFT PASS
Conveniently ski or ride directly to the lifts when you arrive at the mountain by creating an account online and pre-loading your RFID card prior to each visit.
Reload your RFID card by scanning the QR code on your card and enter the reload # on the reverse side of your card. Start loading your RFID card here.
PLEASE REMEMBER
Your RFID lift pass must be inside a pocket on the left side of your jacket (outside sleeve pocket is best) so that your card can easily be scanned at our RFID gates.
Your phone or your wallet should not be in the same pocket as your RFID lift pass.
You should only be carrying your own RFID lift pass.
Reloading Your RFID Lift Pass
RFID cards can be reloaded each time you visit Marmot Basin. This means you can ski or ride directly to the lifts on each visit by holding onto the same RFID card. Create an account online and load your card as many times as you'd like to get the most out of your time on the slopes!
FOR INDIVIDUAL LIFT TICKETS
Once you purchase your lift ticket online, you will receive a confirmation email with a barcode. Print the barcode or keep it handy on your mobile device. Scan the barcode at any Pick Up Box located at the mountain or at our Marmot Sales Centre in Jasper to print your lift ticket. Place your RFID card (lift ticket) inside a pocket on the left side of your jacket (outside sleeve pocket is best) so that your card can easily be scanned at our RFID gates.
