Living and working in a Canadian Rockies ski town is a winter experience like no other. Our team is around 300 strong in the winter, and everyone plays a vital role. You’ll learn not only your role, but also see how a ski resort keeps the lifts running and guests happy and safe.
There are lots of roles available, and throughout the season they may even be opportunity to join another department and learn how another team operate. By the end of the season, you’ll have gained valuable, transferable experience.
2. We’re a family
We arrive as strangers, leave as friends. People from around the globe come to work with us and experience the Rockies. We often have lots of Brits, a Danish contingent, a ton of Aussies and a smattering of Kiwis, along with people from other parts of the world. It’s a great way to meet new people and make a bunch of new friendships that last way beyond season close.

3. Bust new moves
If you want to learn how to ski or snowboard, or you’re already a pro and want to keep your skills sharp, choose Marmot Basin. We have 7 lifts over 5 mountain faces and terrain for all levels. If you’ve never put on boots or clicked into bindings, we have beginner friendly slopes for you to learn so you’re busting moves in no time. We also have two terrain parks and plenty of expert terrain to keep the pros entertained. We have it all!

4. Jasper
Yes, we’re biased, but there really is nowhere like Jasper. It’s an authentic mountain town with an established community of friendly locals that are proud to be Jasperites. The people that live here do it because it’s beautiful place to call home. The surrounding mountain views never get old and the wildlife sightings are always magical (unless there’s an elk on your driveway, it’s -20 degrees and you want to get in your house)!
