Giant Slalom and slalom races to be held on Show Off. Athletes from all over western canada competing. Show off will be closed to public for the duration of the event. Members of the general public are welcome to be active spectators.

Now in it's 22nd year - the Easy Rider Snowboard Cup is the longest running snowboard contest in Canada and the third longest running in North America.
The event is designed for all ages and all ability levels - with the main focus being on FUN!
Saturday, April 4th will see the famous Banked Slalom on Paradise and Punchbowl runs - where riders will "swoop the gully" for the fastest time.
Sunday, April 5th will have 2 events - a Grudge Match style boardercross in the morning and a Park contest in the afternoon.
The final event of the weekend takes place on Sunday afternoon on the deck of the lower lodge - - that being the huge draw prize give away.
Entry fee is $25.00 and includes an event T-Shirt.

City TV will be at Marmot enjoying the slopes and giving away freebies and prizes all day to safe skiers and boarders.

Come and ski with World Champion freestyle skier, Jenn Heil on Sunday April 5,09

Autographs from 11:30 – 12:30 and ski with Jenn from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm meet at the snow sculpture by the Eagle Express Quad chair.

The Easter Bunny will be skiing at Marmot Basin Sunday April 12.

April 15

Marmot Challenge Fun Race (click here to see next event)

This is a friendly competition that allows you to test how good your high speed skills really are!! It’s $75 per a team per to enter and this is the last race of the series!! The course will be set and the snow will be groomed all you have to do is register with Marmot Basin's Snow School Desk no later than 10:15 am on race day (preferably in advance). You need 5 racers per a team with at least one person from the opposite sex. This race is open to people of all ability’s and what makes it even cooler is the fact you will be filmed as you descend through the gates at epic speeds. This will be screened from 18:00 hours at the D'ed Dog where there will also be some great prizes for teams and individuals.

Kokanee Freeride Party

Kokanee Promotion with Bands and BBQ at Paradise Chalet. Bands will be playing from 12.30pm - 3pm but there will be something happening all day! Come along and check it out.

Strip and Rip

It’s time to shed the winter layers and rip at Marmot Basin Sunday April 26. Come up and celebrate the last rides on the Kiefer t-bar and Tranquillizer Chair. Marmot Season Pass holders enter to win the last ride on the Kiefer T-bar at administration or email info@skimarmot.com.
