LAST WEEKEND AT MARMOT
Sunny skies, another 11 cm of new snow day before last, 53 cm new snow in the past 9 days and all runs open with perfect snow conditions! What a great way to wrap up the season at Marmot Basin!
The new Kokanee Glacier Sun Deck at the Caribou Chalet is the perfect spot to soak up the scenery and sunshine. Food and beverage service is also available at Marmot's sun decks at the Eagle and Paradise Chalets located at mid-mountain. There is no better time than now to enjoy the great snow and warm weather! There are lots of fun events coming up you won't want to miss.

THE MARMOT BASIN FREESTYLE CENTRE
New for Marmot Basin for the 2007-2008 season is our Freestyle Centre. This year we will be offering some innovative and exciting freestyle development programs for skiers and boarders.
ROGERS Terrain Park Skills Program (one day)
If you want to get into the park and build your basic freestyle skills enroll in our introductory course: “Terrain Park Skills”. Topics in this programs cover: terrain park safety & etiquette, introduction to rails, boxes, straight airs, grabs, spins, switch riding & al
l mountain freestyle. All our coaches on this program hold park instructor certifications. Helmets are mandatory.
Dates & Times:
This program will be offered on weekends and during school holiday periods
Age:
12-18 year olds
Ratio:
7 students to 1 instructor
Cost:
$63.60 including tax for 3 hour session. This price does not include lift ticket.
Progression session (one day)
If you are already riding in the park and want to increase your ability, join a “Progression Session”. Topics in this program cover: terrain park safety & etiquette, progressions for rails and boxes, straight airs and grabs, spins, switch riding & all mountain freestyle. All our coaches on this program hold park instructor certifications. Helmets are mandatory.
